Get involved in equity and belonging at CCC
There are many ways to get involved in helping CCC become more welcoming and equitable for all. Whether you are an employee, student or community member, there are opportunities to join the college's equity and belonging efforts.
CCC employees
Join the Clackamas Community College Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee to learn, connect with colleagues and advance equity and belonging at CCC. To learn more about the DEI Committee, read our charter.
If you are interested in joining the DEI Committee at CCC, contact diversity@clackamas.edu.
CCC students
Students are invited to join the Multicultural Center (MCC), participate in Multicultural Center events, or just hang out in its welcoming space in the Wacheno Welcome Center on the Oregon City campus.
The Multicultural Center provides opportunities for students to learn about, honor and embrace their histories, lives and whole selves. Students can participate in identity-based clubs, take on leadership opportunities and take part in social and educational events.
Community members
The public is welcome to join many of the events hosted by our Cougar Leadership, Education and Advocacy for Progress (LEAP) Office each year, including our signature annual events — Indigenous Peoples Day, Black Excellence and Summer Connections. There are also usually opportunities to volunteer at these events!
Support our work
The Cougar Leadership, Education and Advocacy for Progress (LEAP) Office is seeking support for events and ongoing programming. Your contributions directly further our efforts to raise awareness and foster critical reflection.
